SUBJECT
The site is the area that is not only suitable for relocating large-scale factories, but also preserves modern
industrial architecture assets that feature the history of “the value of labor and the life of workers”.
Thus, the site shall be constructed as an urban complex space full of vitality through the development where both the value of the
business can exist from the preservation and application of the historical cultural resources.
This project aims to attract complex and anchor facilities necessary for urban commercial areas,
along with inducing development as a new ‘complex commercial area’ connected with the urban context.
설계공모 배경
사업대상지는 대규모 공장 이전적지이자
‘노동의 가치와 노동자의 삶’에 대한 기억을 담은 근대산업건축자산이 남아있는 곳으로,
이러한 역사문화자원을 보존·활용하여 장소성과 사업성이
조화를 이루는 개발을 통하여 활력 넘치는 도심 복합공간으로 조성되어야 하고,
지역 내 필요한 복합용도시설 및 앵커시설을 유치하고 주변 도시맥락과
연계한 새로운 복합단지로의 개발을 유도하고자 한다.

PURPOSE
The purpose of this design competition is to collect the basic plan ideas and methods to realize three-dimensional urban space planning in order to
create a strategic complex-oriented commercial district at the Chonbang & Ilshin textile Industrial Site.
In the integrated city construction plan, three-dimensional space planning will be established through the integration of the land
use and construction plans from the initial stage of urban planning. Moreover, the rationality of the two-dimensional land
use and aesthetical value of three-dimensional space will be also achieved.
The final plan is subject to change from the discussion between the public and project operator, reviews, and process of collecting feedback.
설계공모 목적
본 설계공모의 목적은 전방·일신방직 공장부지를 복합개발하기 위해,
해당 부지의 기본구상 아이디어와 입체적 도시공간계획 실현방안을 제안받기 위함이다.
도시건축통합계획을 통해 도시계획 초기단계부터 토지이용계획과 건축계획을 통합하여
입체적인 공간계획을 수립하고자 하며 2차원적 토지이용의 합리성 뿐만 아니라
3차원적 공간의 심미적 가치도 아울러 얻고자한다.
다만 최종 계획안은 공공과 사업자 간의 협상, 각종심의 및 의견수렴 과정에서 변경된다.
